They contain the same objects as described in Section <a href=\"node38.html#LD:RealData\">4.2.2<\/a>. The cameras have their origin in <!-- MATH\n $(0,850,0)[mm]$\n --><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"126\" height=\"37\" align=\"MIDDLE\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anagram.at\/app\/uploads\/2014\/02\/img290.png\" alt=\"$ (0,850,0)[mm]$\"\/> and heading in <img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"29\" height=\"33\" align=\"MIDDLE\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anagram.at\/app\/uploads\/2014\/02\/img291.png\" alt=\"$ -y$\"\/> direction. The focal length of the cameras is <img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"53\" height=\"33\" align=\"MIDDLE\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anagram.at\/app\/uploads\/2014\/02\/img292.png\" alt=\"$ 480px$\"\/>, the baseline is <img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"56\" height=\"19\" align=\"BOTTOM\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anagram.at\/app\/uploads\/2014\/02\/img293.png\" alt=\"$ 60mm$\"\/>. The aperture is given by <!-- MATH\n $(13.858,11.266)[inch]$\n --><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"178\" height=\"37\" align=\"MIDDLE\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anagram.at\/app\/uploads\/2014\/02\/img294.png\" alt=\"$ (13.858,11.266)[inch]$\"\/>. The aperture values have to be in inches<a name=\"tex2html58\" href=\"footnode.html#foot2490\"><sup>4.3<\/sup><\/a>, no matter what global dimension is used. The cameras are totally parallel, thus no rectification is needed. The position of the objects in space is known and used to calculate the true disparities<a name=\"tex2html59\" href=\"footnode.html#foot2601\"><sup>4.4<\/sup><\/a>. Figure <a href=\"#Fig:syn_disp\">4.7<\/a> shows the synthetic left and right image. Actually the disparity is calculated using pixel accuracy, but it could be easily extended to subpixel accuracy. In this case not only one disparity per line would be calculated.<br \/>\nThe maximum difference between the true and the calculated disparities is 1.7px. The mean disparity difference is <b>0.605<\/b> px, which is actually quite good for a pixel based disparity calculation. In cm it is a deviation of <b>1.421<\/b>. The accurate disparities results due to the accurate attitude of the detected line.
